Protection

Circuit Protection

Protection features included in the AgentG4CP schematic for field wiring, external power, exposed connectors, RF interfaces, and internal switched supplies.

External Power Protection

  • Resettable input overcurrent protection on the external power path
  • 18 V transient voltage suppressor on the charger input path for surge and load-dump style events
  • Series Schottky input diode for input polarity and backfeed protection
  • Input filtering and local capacitance at the charger input entry point
  • External regulator enable input uses a fail-safe default-off topology for exposed control wiring

CP Measurement Input Protection
